Frequently Asked Questions

Which EPIC Program should I choose?

Don't overthink it.

All EPIC Programs use the same evidence-informed clinical framework. The difference isn't how I practice—it's simply where we begin.

If you're not sure which program fits best, book a complimentary EPIC Introduction. We'll discuss your goals.

Getting Started

Your first visit is all about understanding you—not just your symptoms. Before we meet, I'll review your intake forms so I already have a starting point. During your appointment we'll discuss your health history, your goals, what's been tried before, and what matters most to you. Together we'll create a practical plan that fits your life.

I book enough time to understand your story, answer your questions, and create an initial plan. My focus is what we accomplish—not watching the clock.

Complete your intake forms before your appointment so I can review your health history and begin thinking about your case in advance.

If you have them, bring any recent bloodwork, imaging reports, a list of your medications and supplements, or other relevant health records. If you don't have recent testing, don't worry—we'll decide together whether any additional investigations would be helpful.

Come with your questions, your goals, and an open mind. You don't need to have everything figured out—that's what I'm here for.

No. Many patients already have useful information from their family physician, while others benefit from additional testing after their first visit. We'll determine what makes sense based on your goals.Come with your questions, your goals, and an open mind. You don't need to have everything figured out—that's what I'm here for.

Absolutely. I believe healthcare works best when providers work together. If appropriate, I'll communicate with your other healthcare professionals to help coordinate your care.

Treatment & Philosophy

Probably not.

I don't believe good healthcare starts by eliminating everything you love. Sometimes dietary changes are helpful—but they should have a clear purpose and be realistic to maintain. My goal is to help you build health, not make your life miserable.

Not necessarily.

Supplements are simply one tool among many. When I recommend one, it's because I believe it adds value—not because everyone "should" take a dozen products.

My recommendations are evidence-informed and individualized. Depending on your situation, your plan may include nutrition, lifestyle changes, exercise, supplementation, laboratory testing, acupuncture, referrals, or conventional medications when appropriate. My goal isn't to replace your existing healthcare—it's to help coordinate the right tools, at the right time, for you.

It depends on your starting point, your goals, and what we're working on.

Some people notice meaningful improvements within days or weeks, while more complex concerns naturally take longer. My goal isn't to chase quick fixes—it's to help you create meaningful, lasting improvements in your health and performance.

Many patients continue working with me even after their original concern has improved. As your life changes and your goals evolve, your health plan can evolve too.

Appointments & Follow-Up

That depends on your goals and where you're starting. Some patients benefit from more frequent visits early on, while others only need periodic check-ins. We'll create a follow-up plan that makes sense for you.

Yes. Depending on your needs, I may recommend standard laboratory testing or additional functional testing when appropriate.

Yes. My appointments are exclusively virtual, making it easier to fit healthcare into a busy schedule.

Appointments require advance notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Full details are available when you book your appointment.

A final question…

That's exactly why I offer a complimentary EPIC Introduction.

It's a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where we'll talk about your goals, answer your questions, and decide whether we're a good fit. If we are, great—we'll map out your next steps. If not, I'll point you in the right direction.

Not sure which pathway is right for you?

You don't have to have it all figured out before you book.

Your complimentary EPIC Introduction is simply a conversation about where you are now and where you'd like to go.
